Published in Nature Sensors, SuperTac is a biomimetic multimodal tactile sensor inspired by pigeon multispectral vision. It integrates multispectral imaging, triboelectric and inertial sensing in a 1mm skin, achieving 0.06N force accuracy, 0.4mm position accuracy, and 94-100% classification accuracy across texture, material, colour, sliding and collision. The DOVE 8.5B tactile language model enables natural-language tactile understanding.
A 35-page survey by Chef Robotics' Inkyu Sa covering 200+ sources and 31 methods from a production-floor perspective. It organizes bimanual VLA research by 'coupling tightness × action-head emission,' argues flow-matching heads with action chunking are the strongest dual-arm recipe (winning on ~10 integration steps), and dissects the two-orders-of-magnitude gap between benchmarks and real deployment plus three durable gaps (force, evaluation, data).
Published in Nature Machine Intelligence, ergoCub is a humanoid robot designed via a shared embodied intelligence architecture that jointly optimizes hardware and control for human ergonomic metrics. L5-S1 torque drops ~50% during collaborative lifting, and walking step length increases 25% over its predecessor iCub3.
Reka releases RekaDaily-10k: 10,312 hours of unscripted first-person household life video, recorded by a global paid collector network in real homes, with ~1,670 hours in native 4K. Released on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0 in both raw and processed+captioned tiers.
We built an open-source pipeline that turns raw egocentric video into 3D hand-action trajectories for robot policy training — without any sensors beyond a monocular RGB camera. The final system runs at 15.53 FPS on an H100 with 52.04 mm Action MPJPE.
