Open Dots launches: Composio's open-source take on OpenAI's Dot resident agent at 1/10th the cost on your Mac

Composio CTO Karan Vaidya announces the launch of Open Dots (github.com/composio-community/open-dot): one day after OpenAI shipped its resident agent Dot for Pro users, Composio open-sources the same capabilities at 1/10th the cost, running on your own Mac. Each dot has its own browser that stays logged in securely, can use and set up triggers on Gmail, Calendar and 1,500+ other apps, can be called while you talk, and dots coordinate with each other and schedule reminders. Built with Composio and OpenRouter, free and open source.
