SOMA is a desktop CAD app built around code: your coding agent writes the model in CadQuery Python and SOMA rebuilds it on every edit. Point, measure or sketch on the 3D view to send feedback, check overhangs and wall thickness, run FEM strength analysis, pull in standard fasteners, and export STL, 3MF, STEP or dimensioned drawing PDFs. Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI all work; the demo builds a Pi 5 case, a rover and a CNC setup.
