OlloNi Cyber Pet Robot

Overview

An emotional cyber pet from Shenzhen startup Ollobot, offered in two versions — L1 with an extendable long neck and S1 with a short neck. Plush-bodied and wheeled, it is neither humanoid nor a chores robot: its job is companionship. Inside runs an integrated on-device VLA (vision-language-action) model on a self-contained edge AI computer that works without the cloud; the glowing memory core on its chest is a removable storage module holding the family's smiles and conversations, so memories survive a hardware swap. The sensing stack includes a 4K wide-angle camera, a 6-microphone array, ToF obstacle avoidance, IMU orientation sensing and anti-drop navigation — it reads tone, gesture and mood, then adapts its behavior. An 8-inch display serves as digital pixel eyes, paired with multi-axis neck motion, whole-body gestures and the glowing core for non-verbal communication; it almost never speaks in full sentences. Battery life is about 4-6 hours with automatic dock charging; Wi-Fi and the OLLO App enable remote monitoring, with Apple Home / Google Home integration planned. Listed at $9,999 for pre-order, though media estimate the real price at $1,200-2,000.
