Hebao H3: Autonomous River-Cleaning Robotic Boat

Chinese water-conservancy firm Dongfang Shuili has built Hebao H3, a robotic boat that cleans rivers on its own: it detects floating debris, plans its own route, avoids obstacles and collects the waste, returning automatically when full or low on battery. Endurance is at least 12 hours, top speed 4 km/h, maximum cleaning width 3.6 metres, and it streams real-time water-quality data back to shore.
