AGIBOT A3 Ultra patrols Jinan Metro: WAIC 2026 "Best of Show" humanoid moves into public transit service
AGIBOT's official video shows the A3 Ultra commercial full-size humanoid deployed at Jinan Metro for hall patrol and inspection duties. The A3 Ultra stands 174cm, weighs 60kg, has 51 DoF and a 5kg per-arm payload, with 360-degree vision fused with LiDAR (3D LiDAR + RGB-D + fisheye + stereo cameras), GPS/RTK/UWB centimeter-level positioning, an NVIDIA Thor processor with roughly 700 TOPS via a three-layer heterogeneous compute architecture, 8-hour endurance, second-swap batteries and autonomous charging. Unveiled at WAIC 2026 in July, it was the only embodied-AI robot among the expo's ten "Best of Show" exhibits, targeting guided tours, reception, retail, patrol/inspection and research. From expo halls to metro stations, the A3 Ultra is moving humanoids from demo state into real public-service jobs — high-traffic, rule-heavy, long-duration transit environments being the most demanding open exam for navigation, obstacle avoidance and reliability.
