DroidUp Xingzhe No.2 Bipedal Humanoid

Overview

Xingzhe No.2 is a modular bipedal humanoid built on biomimetic tendon drive: tendons and distributed motors co-drive with dynamically adjustable joint stiffness for human-like gait and adaptation to gravel, slopes and stairs, cutting energy use 25% versus peers with 6 h dynamic runtime. The 30-DoF platform stands 170 cm, weighs 32 kg and carries 40 kg; top speed 9 km/h with 30-degree slope and 15 cm step clearance. Control combines MPC with reinforcement learning on 6 TOPS edge / 200 TOPS cloud embodied compute, plus 6 vision sensor sets (depth/IR/color) and an 8-mic array. It took third place and the best-endurance award at the world's first humanoid half-marathon and won the all-terrain dynamic challenge at the Zhangjiang humanoid skills contest, serving guidance, patrol, research-education and stage roles.
