X-Humanoid Tiangong Ultra

Overview

Tiangong Ultra is a racing-oriented humanoid robot from the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (X-Humanoid), built to race. Standing 170 cm tall and weighing 64.5 kg, it has 31 degrees of freedom (head ×2, waist ×3, arms ×14, legs ×12), in-house high-density joint modules delivering up to 400 Nm of joint torque, a 2070 TOPS high-compute module, and a 15 Ah hot-swappable battery. In April 2025 it won the world's first humanoid half-marathon in 2 hours 40 minutes (three battery swaps, the only robot to finish within the time limit); at the August 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games it ran the 100 m in 9.39 s, beating Usain Bolt's 9.58 s world record.
