Heavy-duty cobot on Universal Robots' new UR Series platform: 20-25 kg payload with 1750 mm reach, 64 kg weight and a Ø245 mm base footprint; ±0.1 mm repeatability and up to 5 m/s TCP speed; new joint design raises torque ~25% and joint speed up to 65% with ~50% fewer parts for higher reliability; tapered tubes increase stiffness; IP65 and ISO Class 4 cleanroom certified; integrated M8 8-pin tool connector (12/24 V, 2 digital I/O, 2 analog inputs or RS-485); PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and EtherCAT for welding, machine tending, material handling and palletizing in electronics, automotive and metal fabrication.
