Overview

Tesla's second-generation Optimus (unveiled Dec 2023): 173 cm tall and about 10 kg lighter at roughly 63 kg, walking 30% faster than Gen 1; new 11-DoF dexterous hands with tactile sensing on every finger capable of delicately picking up an egg; added neck joint and planetary roller screw actuators; ~20 kg payload aimed at factory transport and fine assembly.
