Overview

REX G1, unveiled by RoboScience on August 17, 2026, is the company's first robot, positioned as a 'next-generation embodied-intelligence productivity partner'. Built on a wheeled chassis with a lifting column and dual arms, it has 22 degrees of freedom (2 head/neck, 7x2 arms, 2 waist, 1 lift, 3 chassis), a 10 kg dual-arm payload and ±0.1 mm repeatability. At just 540 mm wide with chassis retraction, lift and omnidirectional motion, it enters 0.75 m narrow aisles and reaches 0.1–2.0 m working heights without any site modification. It runs RoboScience's in-house VLOA-based embodied foundation model Visics on 2070 TFLOPS of onboard compute with 360° stereo vision and adaptive lighting, offers up to 4 hours of runtime with hot-swappable batteries (back to work in as little as 5 seconds), targeting logistics, flexible manufacturing, retail dark stores and home services.
