XPENG IRON Humanoid Robot

Overview

IRON is XPENG's in-house humanoid robot. The first generation debuted at the November 2024 Tech Day (178 cm / 70 kg / 62 active DOF, eagle-eye pure-vision perception, already working on P7+ assembly in XPENG's factory). At the 2025-11-05 Tech Day, the next-gen IRON appeared: 82 body DOF, 22-DOF dexterous hands, the industry's smallest harmonic joints, 3 Turing AI chips delivering 2,250 TOPS, all-solid-state battery, bionic spine and 3D-printed lattice muscles. XPENG targets volume production by the end of 2026, runs industrial inspection with Baosteel, and will open-source the platform to global developers. Positioned for personal shopping assistance, smart guiding and professional patrol.
