HONOR Yuanqizai Humanoid Robot
Overview
Yuanqizai is HONOR’s in-house small-size human-interaction humanoid, part of the same HONOR robot lineup as the athletic “Lightning”. HONOR announced its robotics entry in May 2025; the robot team has 200+ members across Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Yuanqizai is 136.9 cm tall with 55 DOF, focusing on human-like interaction and emotional companionship: multimodal emotion perception and understanding, dance performance, and real office-scenario tests (riding elevators, cafeteria check-ins, social interactions). HONOR’s first humanoid appeared at MWC in March 2026; on April 12, 2026 HONOR’s CMO announced “Lightning” and “Yuanqizai” would race in the Beijing E-Town humanoid half marathon, and on April 19 Yuanqizai ran with a human-like gait (~4.2 km/h average) as HONOR robots swept the top six.
