Overview

Toyota CUE7 is the seventh-generation basketball-shooting research robot in Toyota's CUE line: a half-body humanoid torso on a self-balancing two-wheel base, standing 218 cm tall and weighing 74 kg. It measures distance visually and adjusts its posture to make shots from varying ranges, demonstrating a closed loop of perception, decision-making and physical execution as part of Toyota's human-centered robotics research.
