Overview
CODROID 02 is the second-generation humanoid robot from ESTUN COZROID Technology (founded July 2022 under the ESTUN group), first shown in June 2025 for industrial manufacturing: 170 cm tall, 70 kg (excluding battery), 5 kg single-arm payload, 602 mm single-arm reach, 29/31 body DOF and 6-DOF dexterous hands. Core components are fully in-house: rigid and quasi-direct-drive joint modules on a fast-slow co-working embodied architecture (brain + cerebellum controllers). It covers part grasping, material handling, dexterous manipulation, line inspection, visual teaching and multi-robot collaboration, supports secondary development, and targets automotive, electronics and building-material plants. ESTUN is listed on Shenzhen (002747) and Hong Kong; in August 2026 it announced a RMB 487M cash acquisition of the remaining COZROID equity to consolidate its humanoid business.
