Overview
Boston Dynamics Stretch is a mobile case-handling robot for warehouse logistics, announced in March 2021: a square wheeled base, a perception mast and a 7-DoF arm with suction gripper. It handles cases up to about 23 kg (50 lb), moving hundreds of cases per hour, focused on truck/container unloading and mixed-SKU palletizing. Real-time perception lets it react to messy loads and dropped cases without pre-programming, and long battery life covers single or multiple shifts; it is deployed at leading warehouse operators worldwide.
