Overview
Boston Dynamics Handle is a two-wheeled mobile manipulation robot: first unveiled in 2017 (15 km/h, 1.2 m vertical jumps) and repositioned in 2019 as a logistics manipulation platform. Standing 2 m tall and weighing 150 kg, it has 10 degrees of freedom, a 15 kg payload and 2.8 m reach, grasping cases with vacuum grippers and autonomously building/breaking mixed-SKU pallets via onboard vision. Now inactive, its technology lives on in Stretch.
