Amigos AMI-01 Industrial Flexible Embodied Robot

Overview

AMI-01 is the industrial flexible embodied intelligent robot from Beijing Amigos Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (founded September 2024, Haidian Beijing; "Amigos" is Spanish for friends, reflecting the mission of making embodied intelligence a productivity partner for humans). Equipped with the self-developed Industrial Flexible Intelligent Manufacturing System (IFIMS), it delivers smart flexible production solutions for 3C electronics manufacturing. It adopts an innovative side-mounted dual-arm design (single/dual-arm configurable) with 5 kg single-arm and 10 kg dual-arm payload, high-precision force control and visual servoing; scenario-customizable end effectors (suction cups, grippers, dexterous hands) with quick-swap; a standard AGV mobile chassis with auto-recharging and customizable battery swap, or fixed-station configuration; binocular cameras plus 3D dynamic visual perception deliver ±1 mm operational precision and autonomous multi-SKU recognition. On the software side, a video-foundation-model-driven VLA architecture learns see-think-act closed-loop control from first-person operation videos, and real-robot rapid reinforcement learning raises fixed-task precision above 99% within tens of minutes, cutting new-task deployment to 3-4 days (versus 1-3 months for traditional automation). Priced around RMB 200k per unit with roughly 3 months from requirement to delivery, one unit replaces 2-2.5 workers. It covers precision assembly (screw fastening, snap-fit, FPC insertion), inspection & sorting, and material handling. Amigos has partnered with Dibico, Sunwoda and a leading manufacturer, signed its first overseas order with Canada's CAMT Automotive, won the Embodied Intelligence Industry Application Benchmark Award at the 3rd China Embodied AI & Humanoid Robot Industry Conference (LeadeRobot 2026), and was named a Qbit AI 2025 most-watched embodied AI startup ("Vertical Scene Penetrator").
