Overview
AlphaBot 2 (iBot 2) is the new-generation general-purpose intelligent robot from AI2 Robotics (Shenzhen), and the first such robot powered by the embodied foundation model Alpha Brain. The platform combines a wheeled chassis with a waist-leg lifting column, offering 34+ total DoF, a 0-240 cm vertical working envelope, 700 mm arm reach (excluding end effector), 360x360-degree full-space perception and over 6 hours of continuous operation. Alpha Brain is built on the company's fully self-developed GOVLA (Global & Omni-body Vision-Language-Action) model with DeepSeek reasoning integrated: a slow system handles complex reasoning and task decomposition while a fast system outputs whole-body control actions and mobility trajectories, letting the robot perform many tasks without task-specific training. The AlphaBot series has entered leading automakers' plants benchmarked against Tesla Optimus, deployed in semiconductor and biotech manufacturing, and is expanding to airport and community public services.
